In the morning my brother Bernie and I prepared the right wing for priming by masking, cleaning, abrading, etching and rinsing. Then during the afternoon we worked further on the engine induction air filter housing and alternate air selector valve. We drilled and installed nut plates on the air filter housing aft flange then fabricated the alternate air selector valve gate and control arm as well as the control arm shim. Next we cut the opening in the alternate air source deck for the carb heat on selection and control arm movement slot. With the wing having dried for over six hours we concluded our work session by applying the primer to the right wing.
